These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Stars N Celebs platform, including the website, mobile experience, and all related services (together, the "Platform"), operated by Stars N Celebs ("we", "us", "our", "the Company"). By creating an account, browsing, or otherwise using the Platform, you ("User", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1.Who We Are and What We Do

Stars N Celebs is an artist identity platform for performing artists — including dancers, singers, actors, models, anchors, and influencers — operating on a zero-commission, subscription-based model. We provide a space for artists to build a public profile, connect with opportunities, and be discovered by clients and audiences. We are a facilitator of discovery and connection; we are not a talent agency, employer, or party to any engagement, booking, or business arrangement made between Users.

2.Eligibility and Age Requirements

The Platform is intended for use by individuals who are legally capable of entering into a binding contract under applicable law.

Users below the age of 18 ("minors") may only use the Platform with the explicit knowledge, supervision, and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
Where a minor's profile, media, or activity is hosted on the Platform, the parent or legal guardian is deemed to have provided consent on the minor's behalf and takes full responsibility for that use, including for the collection and processing of the minor's personal data.
We reserve the right to request proof of guardian consent at any time, and to suspend or restrict a minor's account until such consent is verified to our satisfaction.
Knowingly providing false information about your age, or creating an account for a minor without appropriate guardian involvement, is a violation of these Terms.

3.Data Privacy and the DPDP Act, 2023

We process personal data in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act") and applicable rules made thereunder.

3.1 Consent

We collect and process your personal data only for specified, lawful purposes connected to providing and improving the Platform, and only with your consent, given through clear affirmative action at the point of collection (such as during registration). You may withdraw consent at any time, as easily as it was given, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

3.2 Notice

Before or at the time of collecting personal data, we will provide an itemized notice describing the personal data being collected and the purpose of such processing, in clear and plain language.

3.3 Children's Data

In line with Section 9 of the DPDP Act, where we have actual knowledge that a User is a child (under 18), we will process that child's personal data only with verifiable consent of the parent or lawful guardian, and will not undertake processing likely to cause detrimental effect on the wellbeing of the child, nor tracking, behavioural monitoring, or targeted advertising directed at children.

3.4 Your Rights as a Data Principal

Subject to the DPDP Act, you have the right to:

Access a summary of your personal data being processed and the processing activities undertaken;
Request correction, completion, updating, or erasure of your personal data;
Nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity;
Withdraw consent at any time;
Lodge a grievance with us, and thereafter with the Data Protection Board of India if unresolved.

3.5 Data Retention and Security

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by law, and implement reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect it against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

3.6 Grievance Officer

In accordance with applicable data protection and information technology regulations, we designate a Grievance Officer to address concerns relating to your personal data and use of the Platform. Contact details are provided in Section 12 below.

4.Your Account and Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep it updated.
You may not create an account on behalf of another person without authorisation, or maintain more than one account for deceptive purposes.
You are solely responsible for the content, media, and information you upload or publish on your profile.

5.Subscriptions and Payments

Access to certain features of the Platform is offered on a paid subscription basis, on a zero-commission model — we do not take a cut of engagements, bookings, or business you conduct as a result of using the Platform.
Subscription fees, applicable taxes, and renewal terms will be clearly displayed at the time of purchase.
Except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise, subscription fees are non-refundable, including where an account is suspended or terminated for a violation of these Terms.
We may change subscription pricing or plans prospectively, with reasonable notice to existing subscribers.

6.Acceptable Use and Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use the Platform to post, share, or engage in any content or conduct that is illegal, unethical, or controversial, including but not limited to:

Content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, hateful, discriminatory, or infringes another person's rights (including intellectual property or privacy rights);
Harassment, exploitation, or endangerment of any individual, particularly minors;
Fraud, impersonation, misrepresentation, or misleading claims about identity, credentials, or work;
Content that promotes violence, extremism, or activities that could bring the Platform or its Users into disrepute;
Circumvention of the Platform's security, payment, or verification systems.

Company discretion is final. Whether conduct or content falls within the above categories, and what action to take in response, is determined at the Company's sole and final discretion. We are not obligated to provide advance warning before taking action, though we will generally attempt to notify affected Users of the reason where reasonably practicable.

7.Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently delete any account, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, where we reasonably believe the User has engaged in conduct that is illegal, unethical, or controversial, or otherwise in violation of these Terms.

No liability for business impact. You acknowledge and agree that if your account is suspended or deleted, the Company shall not be liable or responsible for any loss of business, income, opportunities, bookings, goodwill, data, or any other direct, indirect, or consequential loss arising from or connected to such suspension or deletion — including any business that was in progress or contingent on your account remaining active at the time of action.

8.User-Generated Content and Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the content (photos, videos, profile information, etc.) you upload to the Platform.
By uploading content, you grant the Company a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, and promote that content on the Platform and in connection with marketing the Platform (including on our social media and promotional material), for as long as your account remains active or as reasonably required to wind down such use after deactivation.
All Platform branding, design, software, and underlying technology are the exclusive property of the Company and may not be copied, modified, or used without prior written permission.
If you believe your intellectual property rights have been infringed by another User's content, please contact us using the details in Section 12.

9.Third-Party Interactions and No Guarantee of Outcomes

The Platform facilitates connections between artists and clients but does not guarantee any booking, engagement, payment, or business outcome. Any agreement, negotiation, or transaction between Users (or between a User and a client) is strictly between those parties. The Company is not a party to, and assumes no responsibility or liability for, the performance, conduct, or obligations of any User in such dealings.

10.Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. The Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, business, or data, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Platform — including losses arising from account suspension or deletion as described in Section 7.

11.Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold the Company, its founders, employees, and affiliates harmless from any claim, demand, loss, or liability (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Platform, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

13.Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, features, or legal requirements. Material changes will be notified through the Platform or via email. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14.Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably; failing which, it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra.

15.Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

16.Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices published by us on the Platform, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding use of the Platform.
