Rajkumar Rao's New Look Sparks Controversy: Fact or Fiction?

They were wondering if he had changed his looks.
Rajkummar Rao is a very popular actor in Bollywood. He worked hard and showed his talent to become successful. Recently, he did a great job in a movie called 'Bheed'.
Rajkummar Rao talked about these rumors in an interview with India Today. He said the picture wasn't real and joked that someone might have changed it as a prank âIt is just a bad photo. That is just a touch-up photo. I wish I had such clean and flawless skin because it looks like that. I was not wearing any makeup. But I must say it looks weird even for me. It was just a bad moment caught on camera. I have not done any plastic surgery.â
âI've not gone under the knife. I have not done any kind of plastic surgery. That picture, if you see it again, how is it possible in 14 years, there's one picture and no other picture like that? It's certainly a touched-up picture because my skin looks so flawless. Even I was amazed how it's so flawless without any makeup and after shooting the whole day," Rao said.
The actor mentioned that he's heard comments about his looks since his struggling days, but he's still the same person.
"When I was looking for work and when I started working, people commented on my looks and everything. So, eight-nine years back, I did a little touch up on my chin with fillers, which is like a half an hour job, because I wanted to feel more confident, which I do. I feel I look much better. But has it changed me as a person? Has it changed me as an artist? Not at all,â
Talking about getting older, Rao said he's accepting his wrinkles and the changes that come with age. He mentioned, "I'm not 21 anymore." When he was starting his career, some doubted if he could play main roles because of how he looked. People used to say, "You don't have the right look."
Rajkummar Rao started his acting journey in the 2010 movie 'Rann,' directed by Ram Gopal Varma. Since then, he has delivered outstanding performances in films like 'Kai Po Che' (2013), 'Shahid' (2012), and 'Newton' (2017), among others. Recently, he appeared in the online film 'Monica, O My Darling.' His schedule is full with exciting projects. He shared with a media outlet, "Next, I'm working on 'Guns and Gulaabs,' my first Netflix series with the amazing Raj and DK. Also, there's 'SRI,' a biopic of a visually impaired boy named Srikanth Bolla, which I'm very excited about with Tushar Hiranandani. Currently, I'm shooting for 'Mr And Mrs Mahi,' a beautiful film with Janhvi Kapoor, directed by Sharan Sharma for Dharma Productions."
Reflecting on his journey, Rao shared his initial introduction to cosmetic procedures. "After âKai Po Che!â | visited a dermatologist for the first time. I didn't even know these things existed,â he recalled. Admitting to feeling self-conscious about his facial balance, he opted for fillers to address the issue. "Suddenly, people started noticing my confidence,â he remarked.
The actor emphasized the importance of confidence and selfcare stating, "It's my life, my face. If something medicinal is available, why not? If it boosts my confidence, I'm all for it." Rao stressed the need for moderation in cosmetic enhancements, cautioning against extremes that alter oneâs appearance drastically.
Rajkummar Rao is married his longtime girlfriend and
actress Patralekhaa Paul. They have dated for eleven
years before getting married.
